otb positional Training U15+

  On The Ball Training is pleased to once again offer our positional training program this fall designed to address specific technical and decision making skills based on playing position.

Come experience what makes OTB Training such a fun and rewarding training program! Join us for one or all of the 8 weeks of our new OTB Positional Training sessions.

Each weekly session will consist of 90mins of high intensity OTB training and competitions in a small group setting.

All U15+ OTB positional training sessions are limited to a maximum of 12 players per positional group to ensure the highest quality repetition and instruction. Registration is ‘first come, first serve’.

OTB POSITIONAL TRAINING -WEEKLY OUTLINE

(Players can sign up to train in different and/or multiple positions each week )

  • Week 1: Positive first touch control away from pressure.

    Week 2: Dribbling at speed to attack defenders.

    Week 3: Close touch control to beat a player 1v1.

    Week 4: Reading defenders to exploit weak side.

    Week 5: Finishing inside the box.

    Week 6: Effective shooting.

    Week 7: Establishing your routine for penalties and free kicks

    Week 8: Pass, dribble, or shoot?

  • Week 1: First touch control to go positive to pass/dribble.

    Week 2: Scanning and turning.

    Week 3: Changing directions and point of attack.

    Week 4: Going negative to go positive.

    Week 5: Breaking lines.

    Week 6: Reading balls out of the air.

    Week 7: Transitional play.

    Week 8: Final third decisions.

Groups: mIDFIELDERS (5pm-630pm) FORWARDS (630pm-8pm)

COST: Single session-$45; 4 Sessions- $160; 6 Sessions-$210; 8 Sessions-$245
