otb Self perception ‘boost’-summer PROGRAM

On The Ball Training is pleased to offer a new and exciting training program designed to improve a player’s self embodied perception-what they believe they are capable of achieving!

By employing principles of the ecological training methodology known as the Constraints Led Approach (CLA), we hope to help those players that may be struggling with a cycle of self doubt and fear overcome their perceived physical, technical, and mental ‘inabilities’. By addressing some of these negative self beliefs we believe we can help players find their joy in the game and help them unlock their full playing potential!!

We hope to achieve this in two ways:

1.By helping players understand what information they need to focus on, so that they can make the best cognitive choices and apply the most effective technical skills based on their individual self organzition strategies on the field.

2. By improving the physical capacities of an indiviudal player to meet the physiological demands of the game.

To this end, each daily 3hr session will consist of 2 hours of CLA based OTB technical skill exercises-designed to address different in game moments based on generalized player poistions + 1 hour of physical strength and conditioning led by the team from Optimus Sports Performance Training.

This unique training program is limited to a maximum of 4 players per age group to ensure the highest quality attention, repetition and instruction. Registration is ‘first come, first serve’.
